Greg Grunberg

Greg Grunberg, born July 11, 1966 in Los Angeles, California, is a television actor. He is best-known for his television roles as Sean Blumberg on Felicity (1998-2002) and as Eric Weiss on Alias (2001-2005). Grunberg left Alias to star on the NBC sit-com, Grand Union.

Both of these shows were produced by J.J. Abrams, who also cast Grunberg in a cameo role in the pilot episode of his 2004 series Lost. Grunberg returned for the finale, but his scenes were cut for time, and were included on the season 1 DVD set.

It is believed, but not confirmed, that Grunberg returned again, in an uncredited role, to Lost to play the character of Gerald DeGroot, co-creator of The Dharma Initiative, in the second season episode entitled Orientation.

Since 2003, Abrams had planned a series called The Catch about a bounty hunter, starring Grunberg in the lead role. Suggested for both the 2004-2005 and 2005-2006 seasons, the series was never produced; however, a pilot was shot.
